  • Try sleep deprivation in a controlled way (staying up slightly later) to enter hypnagogia faster when you nap.

3. The Lucid Dreaming Gateway

  • Focus on a single thought or image as you fall asleep.

  • Stay aware while your body relaxes—this helps consciously transition into hypnagogia.

  • This method can also serve as a gateway to lucid dreaming.
